"Travis was great at check in, really friendly. Room is very dated, bed and pillows not the comfiest, shower not very powerful. Parking at Union Square cost over £20 for 15 hours parking, shame for the hotel that Union Square removed the parking deal for guests. Fire alarm went off just as we got into bed but the staff were great and got us back in our rooms as quickly as they could. "

"We stayed 2 nights and paid £114 per night for bed and breakfast in a Heritage room called Irvine. The soundproofing in the room was shocking with a loud humming noise coming from behind our bed and the noise of doors slamming and guests talking. When I reported this to receptionist she acknowledged that the humming noise was from the room next door’s plumbing. I was not offered a different room. We were visited by both a spider and cockroach in the bathroom. I would therefore strongly recommend not to stay in the room called Irvine. The breakfast was OK. The croissants and muffins were fresh but when they were gone they were gone. My advice is to go for breakfast early. The porridge from the menu was very good and I would recommend it. IMO the property needs a lot of money spent on renovation and as an example the windows need replacing throughout the property. IMO most of the younger staff need extra training to help them understand better customer service. Overall our stay was a below average experience for a 4 star hotel, but reasonable value for money."

"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the residence inn Aberdeen. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful — truly going over and above to make my stay comfortable. The property itself was clean, well-maintained, and very inviting. The bedrooms were beautiful, and I especially appreciated the extra linen provided, which was perfect as the room was quite cool. The hallway and shared areas were also lovely and well presented, and all toiletries were readily available, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous, with fresh fruit, coffees, teas, water, and juices available. There was also the option of a delicious cooked breakfast alongside continental choices, which made for a great start to the day. The price was well worth it, especially considering the quality of the stay and the beautiful, comfortable bed. I would highly recommend staying here and would happily return again."
