"This hotel was close to the train station. Our room was comfortable and clean."

"We only used the hotel as a base for a couple of nights so didn’t use the restaurant . We upgraded to a club room which was roomy and bed itself was comfortable enough but the pillows were very small and flat and didn’t even come up to the base of headboard and the pillows didn’t fit the pillow cases which were of a normal size. We did mention this to reception when checking out who said they would mention it to housekeeping . We have stayed here a couple of times before but not in a club room and didn’t have a problem with the pillows then so I was quite surprised that the pillows didn’t match up to the upgrade. Had we been staying longer I would have mentioned it after the Ist night. "

"Great property and location. Construction going on so it was a bit noisy. Breakfast was very repetitious (same as my last stay) and i wasn't happy they blocked of the front part of the breakfast area. It was way to compact putting everyone at one end. Covid is still around. "

"The Hotel was a former school and situated close to the Castle. It was walking distance to the town and several restaurants. We enjoyed a swim and sauna in the morning before stiing down to a wonderful meal with several options for everyone."

"Bright airy reception with a lovely smell. Staff very friendly and easy to check in. Room spotless and very comfortable. Shower in our room a bit dodgy but managed. Large breakfast selection and again staff all lovely. Easy check out. Excellent value for money."

"Hotel was easily accessible for walking from the bus/train station's, shops and eating places and night life. Our room was so peaceful and no noise from outside traffic or people, only problem my husband has was there was no window but thats what i booked as was only for a 1 nights stay. "
