"The cottage was very quaint and comfortable. The surrounding scenery was breathtaking. Staff were cheerful and pleasant. The only downside was the super firm mattress and very poor water pressure in the shower."

"Property is ideally located on Bute. Beautiful views from the front porch. People tend to sit out there and smoke so not too relaxing if you want to breathe fresh air. The bar tender was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The food was typical of Scotland. The hotel is very old is it is what was expected of a hotel of that age."
Loch Fyne Hotel And Spa

"Staff in general were very helpful and friendly. Lovely location overlooking the loch. The cooked breakfast was very good. The spa was good, pool long enough to get a decent swim. Jacuzzi and steam room nice too. The only drawback was that the spa only has 4 cushioned loungers so many guests had nowhere to lounge and read their books on busy afternoons, and there was a bit of a scramble when a sunlounger became free. Adequate parking."

"Excellent value with all you need with parking onsite, communal kitchen and free Wi Fi. Ideally located close to Greenock town centre and the train station for direct trains to Glasgow. Bit rough and ready around the edges but hard to fault unless you're expecting top end luxury. John was very helpful too."

"The hotel is literally stunning and everything is of a high quality finish. Our room was beautiful. Staff were very attattentive. Spa was lovely although I would of liked a jacuzzi and a couple of tge steam rooms were not working. Food was delicious only issue ws we had booked a table for 8pm and when we went was told there was no booking and restaurant was full.. ee were told we would need to eat in the gallery which we weren't happy with . After a tense discussion we were then took into tge restaurant where there were empty tables and remained that wy for the rest of the night so not sure why we were told they were full. This did slightly spoil things for us.. otherwise would of rated 5 stars."

"Convenient location and amenities having bar/restaurant on site. Staff were friendly. Accommodation was in a separate block; communal areas were a little tired but the room itself was comfortable and had all the basics in place."
