"The Rustic Rook Resort is a fabulous new addition to the Yurt/Bin wave of alternative to hotel stays. It is just a few miles from the Great Sand Dunes National Park that is simply awe inspiring and has fabulous sledding on the Dunes for the entire family. Excellent dining is about 20 minutes away in downtown Alamosa. The stars at night are incredible. We stayed in a Bin, which was less rustic than the name would imply. It was perfect for my husband and I, and our dog. We wouldn't hesitate...

"A bit hard to find without a phone call. The kitchen was not well equipped (only one spoon in the unit). This was not a problem as we only stayed one night. But in the event, we return to Dodgeton Creek for a longer stay, we will need to remember to bring our camping kitchen gear."

"Quiet and secluded location, but also close enough to the towns to get supplies and shop local stores. The space was warm and comfortable during cold and snowy weather. Perfect for our getaway and hit the spot for cabin relaxation!"
