"30 mins drive from Hermanus. We saw about 10 whales relaxing and breaching in the local bay -some very close in - and none when in Hermanus. Willy was an excellent host. Omelette breakfast recommended. The Oby Dick pub restaurant is 5 mins drive away and we recommend it too. "

"The room is comfortable, very hospitable owners who are friendly and kind, clean and tidy throughout and a really nice hot shower. Upon arrival the room was a little chilly but there were extra blankets on the beds which were cosy and warm. "

"Hous Giotto is a clean comfortable guest house, the owner Jeana was very welcoming and helpfully regarding info about the area and places to eat etc. The guest house is not within walking distances of the town center, but is only a few minutes by car. "This was a quick stop to our Great White Diving excursion! The place was perfect, big kitchen, big fridge, big everything. The apartment has a place to good braai and heated beds when it is cold. There is a tube and shower. Hot water is great. The area is safe and nice. Few good restaurants around the area, but we preferred to eat in since it was so nice. Check in was great, there is a gated entrance where you can leave the car. Highly recommended! "
