Cottage is comfy but if you are looking for local action, it may be too isolated for you. We loved it& didn’t mind the drive to Clifden, about 20 km. Carna was closer but much smaller but had a pub & pizza."

"I stayed for roughly 2 weeks at the cabin in July whilst working around Connemara, and it provided me the perfect place to have a nice quiet morning watching the horses and mountains in the distance, and then lovely cosy evenings watching the colours change in the fields and watching a movie.
