Approximately three miles from the end of the seawall in the Spanish Grant subdivision. Beautiful pool and hot tub along with unobstructed views of large wetland and tidal river. This is a gathering point for a huge variety of birds, which can be viewed from the large back deck.

There are beautiful views of sunsets and moon risings. Enjoy peace and quiet in your private swimming pool and in-ground hot tub. Lift available for the disabled. It is an easy walk up the street to Bermuda Beach, about 10-15 minute walk.

We LOVED this house for our family of 5! The host is so kind and gracious! Such a blessing! The pool and hot tub and ping pong table were absolutely awesome! The kitchen had all we needed and more and the photos don't do the master bed and bathroom justice, just incredible! This was such a blessed trip!

From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in the perfect place. The charm of this house was beyond our expectations, clean and well organized. The view from the balcony was amazing. The location was perfect to the softball fields, beach and restaurants. The pool was amazing. The house has everything you would need for relaxing time with your family.

We had an amazing week here. The house was very impressive and enough room for our family of 6 and our pets. Kids loved the pool very relaxing. We agree completely with all of the other great reviews. The house was great, and Rene made the process very easy! The house was was very clean, and Rene provided so many of the everyday essentials to make the stay almost like being at home...towels, linens, etc. If you are looking for a great house that is close enough to everything, but also far enough to feel private, this is a great choice!

The property was nestled away in a quiet area that backed up to a large green space. We had a great time watching the storms roll in and all the wild life. The house was spectacular, clean and had a great pool. It was the perfect hideaway restful vacation for our family. The owner was amazing and very responsive to any question or concern. This is our happy place! We plan to come back every summer. This was our fourth year and it didn’t disappoint even in the crazy heat. The house was beautifully decorated w/ decorations befitting of a beach house, adding to the overall experience. The house and pool were equipped with all that we needed to cook and have fun. Rene was also excellent to work with and was helpful. We will be back to catch a few more sunset viewings from the nice back deck, and will bring our bicycles to ride around the quiet and nice neighborhood.

Our family had such a great experience staying at this lovely home. Rene, the home owner was so thoughtful and accommodating to anything we needed and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. The view off the back porch is breathtaking. We enjoyed bird watching and catching the beautiful sunrise and sunset everyday. Our boys swam in the awesome pool and hot tub the whole week. So fun and relaxing! The home was well equipped with everything we could possibly need from various kitchen gadgets to pool/beach gear. Highly recommend staying here; you won’t be disappointed.

We have an absolutely delightful month staying at this property. The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to feel right at home from the moment we walked in the door. Renee, the owner, was so helpful and friendly. He answered questions immediately, and we’ve made a new friendship with him and Carol. The pool is so nice and the hot tub was great even in the chilly weather. The birds we saw were so different than those we see in Wyoming. We highly recommend this for your next vacation, you will not be disappointed.

We absolutely loved this house! It was perfect for our family (4 adults and 1 child) and our 3 year old son was very comfortable in the bunk room. The owner, Rene was great. Very helpful and responsive to questions. You could tell that a lot of care has gone into the home and we had zero complaints! We drove to the beach each day but it was very close with easy parking. At the house, we played ping pong, enjoyed the beautiful views and loved the pool. Everything was very clean and in great condition! Probably our favorite Galveston rental and we have been to many properties through the years.

This property was perfect for our family! Rene’s home isn’t lacking a thing!! For starters, we were able to grill, cook some meals from scratch, make a pot of coffee and relax! Concerning the actual home I can’t think of anything that wasn’t provided!! Extra blankets, surround sound, tons of outdoor seating areas, candles, spices, pool floats, even iced mugs for beverages! The home was spotless and I love that the doorways were so wide and everything was easily accessible as well. Great soaking tub in the master and the bunk beds were full sized which was cool. No negatives at all to this place and the host was very helpful and accommodating. We will absolutely be back and thank you for being kind and gracious and making this property feel like a real home!!!

The property hits on these points for us: clean, secure yard, private pool, well-provisioned property. This was our first visit since COVID and everything was especially clean. Sunset Perch feels like my second home. Just bring your toothbrush and your food. The kitchen is equipped with everything to cook a steakhouse dinner or a crab boil. The master overlooks the back deck, pool, with the ocean/bay in the distance. Neighbors are quiet, neighborhood very walkable. Plenty of towels and toys for the pool area, with it's own fridge, shower and restroom. I love sunsets. It was just the week away I needed. We'll be back this winter to spend more time in that big hot tub, star gazing.
