Auberge Santu Martine is a stunning new property in the one of the most beautiful and still largely unspoiled area of Sardinia. The Auberge is a wonderful place to truly relax by the pool while getting away from the world in the beautiful Sardinian countryside. Auberge Santu Martine is a once in a lifetime vacation experience: a tranquil and beautiful oasis, in a convenient location to enjoy and explore many beautiful parts of Sardinia.

The Auberge features several detached cottages with a sophisticated blend of elegant style, Sardinian heritage and modern conveniences, including high-speed wifi. The cottages are all furnished with some original Sardinian antiques, hand painted tiles, bamboo ceilings, rod iron poster beds. All the cottages are spacious and they include full kitchens and living/dining rooms with fireplace. Guests can also enjoy the infinity pool overlooking the vineyard.

Auberge Santu Martine is nestled on a breathtaking 240 hectares private working ranch. The ranch includes a large vineyard with typical Sardinian varieties of red Cannonau and white Vermentino di Sardegna. It also includes sheep barns and milking facilities. The majestic natural reservation areas of the Monte Albo and Monte di Oliena mountain ranges surround the ranch. The Gennargentu national park is 30 kilometers away.

Just 45 minutes south of the Costa Smeralda Olbia airport, the Auberge can serve as an ideal base camp to visit the beautiful beaches of the gulf of Orosei and Cala Gonone, as well those around the island of Tavolara. The beaches of Capo Comino, Berchida, Bidderosa, Su Barone, and Cala Fuile are all in a radius of 20/30-minute car ride. Cala Luna, and Cala Golorize’ can be reached by boat from Cala Gonone or Orosei. There are also wonderful hiking, biking and canoeing nearby options. The famous hike of one of Europe’s deepest canyon (Gorroppu) is approximately 25 km away, as it the base to reach the bronze-age development of Tiscali.

In addition to the full kitchens in each cottage there are wonderful restaurants are nearby. Restaurants range from local bistros or agriturism, to award winning featuring local Sardinian specialties, including, just to name a few, Su Gologone (Oliena), Ispingoli (Dorgali), il Pescatore (Cala Gonone), Il and many others in Nuoro.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön angelegt. Jedes Cottages (mit Ausnahme der 2 kleinen 2er Cottages) stehen alleine. Aber auch die kleinen Cottages sind gut baulich getrennt.Der Pool ist sehr sauber und gut gepflegt.Kleines Manko: Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn die Ausstattung der Küche (Gläser, Tassen, Müsli-Schüsseln, Espresso-Kocher) nicht nur für 2 Personen ausgelegt wäre.Ein automatischer und inkludierter Handtuchwechsel nach einer Woche wäre schön. Wir haben auf Nachfrage neue Handtücher nach eriner Woche erhalten.

Tolle Unterkunft

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Alles war perfekt. Der Pool lädt zum entspannen ein, auf der Terrasse kann man abends den Sonnenuntergang beobachten - einfach traumhaft. Von der Unterkunft aus kann man tolle Ausflüge an die Küste oder in die Berge machen.
