"The hotel is a modern and new hotel. Clean. Staff is friendly. Rooms are spacious. However the pool is tiny! The photos are very misleading, the pool is the size of a hot tub. Do not book this hotel if you’re looking for a hotel with a view and pool on their rooftop. The food is not good either. I found that the chicken was not cleaned properly. The drinks are great! Rooms are clean and spacious. The most IMPORTANT thing is the safety/security issue. This hotel is in an up and coming neighborhood aka gentrification!! The neighborhood is very sketchy. You will be in the middle of the hood. We saw 1 block away a drug addict with needle tracks up and down his arm. A lot of people hanging outside the buildings. Rats and large roaches outside as well. At night walking back to the hotel can be very concerning and unsafe. The hotel has no security. If you are females or have young children I would not book here. Men it’s up to you if you feel safe as a group walking through this to get to the hotel."

"The staff is very nice and helpful, however, unless you’re choosing one of their new/renovated luxury premium rooms, the standard and even “non-luxury” premium rooms are VERY outdated (think 1980’s quality) and overpriced - I found out AFTER arrival and check-in and ended up opting for an upgrade. The luxury premium rooms are up to standard, newly renovated with the level of comfort one would expect. Overall a positive experience despite the surprise."

"Stayed here with my wife, 21 years old daughter and 16 year old son for 3 nights. Great hotel- good location for sightseeing and area great for restaurants. Hotel staff very helpful. Room good, only negative was no shelf space to put anything away. There was room for a small chest of drawers. Great selection at breakfast"

"Great location very close to city centre. Metro station 100 metres from hotel - 2 stops to Plaza Catalunya. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean throughout, good breakfast and free coffee machine in lobby. No hesitation in recommending this hotel."
