"My wife and I stayed at Hotel Berna for 2 nights in May 2026. The hotel staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The hotel was clean, well maintained, the room was nicely appointed and spacious. The hotel is walking distance to the Milan Central Train Station. Additionally, there are a variety of restaurants withing easy walking distance, in fact one right next door and another across the street, both of which we ate at and had no complaints. Our only complaint is that the carpet in our room needed to have a deep cleaning, shampooed thoroughly removing all stains."

"Breakfast was Italian style so OK from that point of view, but since most of the guests were foreign tourists a little more variety would have been appreciated, For example there was little fresh fruit availlable, only slices of pineapple, some chunks of an unknown melon and large whole apples. Only two kinds of fruit juice, apple and one called mixed vitamins. My cappucino this morning was barely warm. "

"Nice hotel and a good location. Good staff. Unfortunately, the bed was hard as a rock. My biggest complaint was that the air conditioning was computer controlled at the front desk. They couldn’t reduce our room temperature to less than 22 degrees C. Must be much hotter in the summer. That’s why my rating of 3 stars. Rick, Montreal"

"Breakfast spread spread had runny eggs and no pancakes or waffles. Bacon wasn't really cooked There was some fruit and few different options like crossiants, bread, muffins. It is a light breakfast nothing over the top."

"Spacious lobby and bar, rooms were very small. Our initial room had a foul, sewer-like odor. We asked to be switched and they accommodated our request which was really nice. We did not have the breakfast but enjoyed a spritz in their outdoor area. Convenient to Milano Centrale. "
