"It's a completely gorgeous spot and the staff are friendly and helpful. The building and grounds are amazing. As a hotel option, it's not ideal in terms of efficiency and modernity, so don't go there looking for that. This is for someone who appreciates an old mansion, a gothic rooftop, an old school fancy bar. "I was in the area for my son's golf tournament. The location to the courses was great. The owners are extremely gracious and welcoming.The bedroom, bath/shower were very clean and well kept. They are happy to make breakfast for you. I enjoyed my stay. "

"This is my second time at the property. It’s just as incredible the second time as it was the first time. I hosted our staff retreat there. 11 of us ladies fit very comfortably as it is so spacious. We had a wellness retreat. The pool and hot tub, amazing grounds and incredible house made for the perfect setting. I highly recommend and the hosts are always excellent and accommodating!!! "We enjoyed everything about this property and everything was exactly as described! We saw all kinds of wildlife including about a dozen different types of birds. The property sits on a road that is walkable and scenic, and the home has great views of the lake, which is perfect for kayaking. Overall, an enjoyable vacation away from home!"
