"What an absolutely delightful surprise. From the outside, a rather normal looking house in a smaller Slovak city, but on the inside, a small but very service minded team, and very large and spacious rooms. Food was exquisite, both dinner in restaurant and the breakfast was made fresh from a breakfast menu, probably the best hotel breakfast I’ve had in over 10 years. Definitely be coming back here again soon."

"As an architecture buff I enjoyed staying in this 150 year old historic building. It is in the heart of “old” Nitra within walking distance of parks, restaurants, the riverfront and shopping. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Although it’s not the “grand” hotel it once was, it’s very good value and we would definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful property on one of the 7 hills of Nitra. Great views of the city below. Adjacent to a lovely church garden. The spa is very nice. The breakfast was bountiful in a charming dining room overlooking the city. Award winning restaurant. Service was outstanding. Wish we could have stayed longer."

"When I checked-in my room wasn’t ready. Once I received the key to my room, I unlocked it and someone else was just talking on the phone in my room! On top of this, the air conditioning was a joke and I truly worried that I may pass out from the heat of the room. They only gave me one pillow and winter blanket. I wouldn’t stay here again. "
