"Room was clean spacious and acceptable. Sparingly/minimally furnished. Just a little stool not even a chair on which to sit. This could be easily improved. Grace the host was very courteous and helpful though."

"Great place to stay but their breakfast is usually the same meal everyday."

"Excellent hotel, very modern and up to date amenities. Breakfast was grand!!! Book it immediately. My best stay in Africa"

"This hotel is a bit dated and could use a remodel. We overall enjoyed the stay since we weren't in the room as much. There was only AC in the bedroom, so we had to keep the living room windows open most of the time, since the AC in the bedroom was barely enough to keep it cool. The thermostat was set to 20 degrees Celsius so if you need to sleep cooler that wasn't an option. "I love staying here. Very quiet, calm, and the staff are very helpful, and it has a wonderful garden and bar/restaurant in site"

"Ms.Asumta was very friendly and helped me with the formalities. The chief waiter and his team were carrying all the time and presented a wonderful Tilapia for dinner. Don't trust some bad reviews about this place, now they are under new management "

"It is deceptive as it is on a dirty road but the Hotel is very nice. It has good facilities. We found the area quite safe and walked to a good restaurant within 10 minutes. Meals were good. Hotel not in noisy area. Hotel restaurant was good."

"This hotel is the best place to stay in Kinigi/to gorilla trek! It’s the closest lodge to the Dian Fossey campus and women’s village, and the staff is exceptional. They are very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond. We loved that we’d come back to the hotel and they’d clean our shoes and give us a foot massage. They’d also get a fire going in your room while you are having dinner. We’d come back to bed with a heated bed (thanks to a warm water bottle they place in there) and a fire...

"Received one actual key and room furniture were old but room was clean. After figuring out the water heater, shower was ok but door missing so water went everywhere in the bathroom. Toiletries were available. No AC so they brought a fan."
