"I enjoyed the Brewers Arms but I think it is over priced. Also, they stopped serving food at 7pm which should be highlighted. I left early so couldn’t have breakfast but Jen prepared food for me to take on my early start. "

"Very quiet area and very flat. Great if you like animals, dogs, hens, sheep, horses and a turkey are within the grounds. Vintage mismatched rooms and fabulous breakfast with home made bread. Not much entertainment but 2 pubs nearby, one within walking distance, other serves food until 8pm. Lincoln city, castle and cathedral worth a visit. Very entertaining host, lovely family and winner of four in a bed!"

"Very clean and a great kitchen area to make dinner. The place is about 15 mins from the M62. Breakfast is cereal and juices, toast etc. So not cooked but presumably you could use the hob etc . A comfortable stay and a good barn conversion building."

"My stay at the Goat House was magical. The decor and the whole ambiance were superb as was the service. Samantha was very welcoming and extremely helpful. I arrived somewhat later than expected. I was on my way to a function which was further away than anticipated. Samantha kindly offered to take me there and collect me afterwards. This made the whole evening far more enjoyable for me as i didn't have to worry about driving and maybe getting lost. Breakfast was brought to me in the morning...

"We had 2 large rooms for a family break. Hosts were very welcoming and went that extra mile to make us feel at home. Tasty vegan breakfasts went down with group and the availability of the breakfast room during the day was also useful. Very comfy beds. Nice to see the various friendly rescue animals / pets. Location is in a quiet street which is a few minutes walk from regular bus services to city centre / pubs / food. We plan to return."

"On arrival we was welcomed by Richard who made us feel welcome straight away. We was given room 6 which was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean & beautifully decorated. Soon afterwards Kerry came & introduced herself, what a lovely couple they are. The rooms are in a lovely peaceful setting, ideal for relaxing or even to travel the short drive into Bawtry. We would highly recommended you check this place out"

"Do not hesitate to book. Spotlessly clean a huge comfortable bed, huge modern bathroom and very quite. The hosts can not do enough for you, a home from home in a gorgeous building, I stay in alot of hotels all over the country and this is one of the best."

"This was a wonderful house to stay in, it worked especially for us just wanting the one night, with a bath and allowing dogs! So it ticked all the boxes for us. The bedroom is huge with an en-suite bath and shower room next door. Imogen and Terry were the perfect hosts and breakfast was enough to feed many more than just the two of us!"

"We had a wonderful stay! Lindsay was so kind to help us get to and from our destination. The pod itself was super clean, and set up for Valentine’s Day which was a beautiful little extra touch. Tea and coffee was provided, had everything you would need for a perfect stay! Can’t thank you enough for a wonderful trip to Southwell. We will be back soon. "
