"The local area is very small. Even though the hotel’s location seems a bit far from the port, it’s only 10 min walk. We had a room with lake view. Breakfast is well prepared (their menu)"

However as some others have noted, it is VERY damp and smells musty despite the A/C and fan being on. We were there for one night so it was ok but would not have stayed if longer than that despite how affordable it was. "

They upgraded our room without us asking as they knew we were celebrating a special occasion. The Chinese restaurant was delicious! My only regret with my booking was choosing to stay one night. If I stayed for two nights…I probably would never want to leave. The only minor inconvenience was that the room doesn’t offer many outlets for personal use. I needed to unplug the humidifier or room scent diffuser to use my Dyson or charge my devices. "
