"We had a very enjoyable stay here and would highly recommend. Positioned close to everything Taormina has to offer, the staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable with superb air conditioning which was definitely needed during our extremely hot stay. The room was serviced daily to a high standard and the whole property was clean. Breakfast was served either outside on the beautiful terrace or inside in the anir-conditioned breakfast room. The options on offer were excellent. The hotel offers a private parking space if you have a car with you which although expensive at €35 per 24hrs was convenient and saves you faffing around!"

"My family and I were completely blown away with Hotel Villa Sonia. Walking on to our terrace was like stepping into a dream that we did not leave until we checked out 4 days later. The pool was exceptional, the view was breathtaking and the proximity to Castelmoa and shuttle to Taormina were perfect. We have already started planning our trip back to Sicily with Hotel Villa Sonia as our first stop. Thank you for making our stay as close to heave as possible. Cecily"

"Our stay was absolutely perfect. The hotel was updated, immaculately clean- every meal at the restaurant was top rate and delicious even the breakfast which was included. The views are unmatched… the cocktails at the bar were fun and different and really good.. The new pool was beautiful and relaxing… The concierge booked us an amazing cooking class (last minute due to us not planning ahead) and a beach club visit (also last minute) and all the transportation we needed … both were highlights of the trip we also used the shuttle service alot and it was prompt and terrific. I would go back in a heartbeat!! Love this hotel."

"STAFF IS AMAZING!! helpful with taxi or anything else you may need from a local they are willing to talk in italian to ensure you are getting service you want fairly! The room was perfect for me.. Cable car is right across the street which is so easy to get to the beach and then the town is a 5 min climb up the hill! great location and price!!"

"The staff memories were lovely everyone you meet was pleasant. The property itself needs to be better taken care of from the outside of the building to the Un manicured grass- The bathroom or shower tiles need to be cleaned or updated a lot better than it is- My room was clean. The bed sheets were clean. Location is good The café bars was decent- opened every time I visited! The staff very helpful unpleasant. If staying there just know that the properties needs maintenance/updates"
