"The staff were very welcoming. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very clean. The food is delicious. And the setting is outstanding. Playing board games by the fireplace in the evenings was a lovely touch. It’s only a ten minute drive into Oban, burger e high away that it’s peaceful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. "Friendly staff and good room for people with mobility issues. The cooked breakfast was really good. I was disappointed to hear that they’re stopping food in the hotel as the food was good and it will only be continental breakfast although the pastries were lovely but when you go away a cooked breakfast is always good the next morning."

"Had another really lovely stay at the George. Room was beautiful, clean, had a wood burning fire, view of the loch, and very friendly staff. Had breakfast, lunches and dinners during my stay and they were all wonderful and accommodating to a food allergy. Grateful for the charming George Hotel and its friendly staff! "

"Hands down my favorite hotel during my trip. On the day of my check-in, I made dinner reservations and unfortunately I ran into car trouble so I was going to miss dinner hours by 20 minutes. Immediately when I got to check in, they offered to make me a plate even though the kitchen was closed. 10/10 hotel! I’ll be visiting again"
