There is a small snack-bar on the beach of Furadouro, which is a gastronomic gem. What you see on the picture, is the best "Arroz de marrisco" (sea food rice stew) what I have ever eaten in my life.

In my Norther Portugal Bicycle Tour I always suggest this place to eat on the stage, when we cycle from Porto to Furadouro with my clients. I suggest to do the same when you are around there, go for the Restaurant Maganinho 😋

"Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward."

"My family and I had a brilliant stay at this property. The house is clean and bright and modern with a great pool and beautiful views out over the lagoon. We spent a lot of time by the pool mixed with excursions to the pristine beaches in nearby Torreira and Sao Jacinto. Really lovely spot and a very helpful host who gave us great tips on where to visit in nearby Porto. Highly recommend for those looking for a chilled holiday."

"This is a very well equipped villa in a lovely location overlooking the lagoon. The village of Torreira a few minutes away is a gem. A pretty little town with old buildings lining the pedestrianised main street at one end and a harbour with brightly painted traditional fishing boats at the other end. The villa has a good heated pool and two comfortable lounges, one of which overlooks the lagoon. The garden is secluded and a nice place to relax. The nearby road is only really noisy on Sundays...

"The place was nice. Check in was tough as they didn’t answer when we were trying to find the place. We didn’t have someone show us how to use everything and had to ask later. Communication was delayed as well at times. Location was great though to walk around. Driving in the neighborhood and parking is challenging. Word of caution, typical places are charging 2 euros per night per person for the city tax. Instead of 50euros, we had to pay 62euros. They charged more but it was not listed...

Location is fantastic - minutes from downtown Aveiro, two big supermarkets and the beaches, but still in a residential neighborhood. "Amazing find, located in Ribeira old town Porto! Rooms tastefully decorated, cool and had little extras like welcome glass of port, reusable bag as a gift, a chocolate in the room and magnifying mirror in the bathroom alongside standard one too. Breakfast was fresh and a good range of continental choice and eggs cooked to order, fresh juices and pastries too. There is an espresso machine in the breakfast room available throughout the day and in the afternoon is a selection of cakes and biscuits. Staff were very helpful throughout our stay. Would recommend! "
