"This little place is well located for taking advantage of Shepherdstown’s walkability, eateries and of course the Mec! The host was super responsive and helpful. Good clear communication and a desire to provide excellent customer service. There is road noise as the house fronts a primary road btw Shepherdstown and Harpers Ferry. "This was supposed to have been an anniversary stay. It was not cozy, clean or anything I expected. While the manager was easy to contact. He refused to see the problems with the property. He acknowledged knowing some of the issued and said they could have had maintenance take care of them had I elected to stay. I felt as if that should have been addressed before my stay. I tried to get a partial refund. They refused. We stayed no nights!! When I advised I was going to leave a negative review....

"We stayed here to visit family locally and loved it. The property had horses on site and a nice private patio to enjoy the views at the beginning and end of days. The owners while on site were accommodating and very friendly. Couldn’t say enough good things as the family and myself enjoyed our stay. "
