Never again

We booked that house and one day before leaving to Madeira I got a phone call (after trying to reach João Bento for more than a week) in which he told me that the house would not be available because of water problems. As replacement he offered us an appartment in Funchal - instead of a complete house. The appartment had only 1 bedroom and our teenage daughter had to spleep on the sofa in the kitchen-living room. Although we had a sea view from the small balkony it was a very noise environment where we hardly could sleep in the night. The promised very modern standard was merely acceptable (e.g. clogged toilet & shower drain). Fortunately I could find another accommodation in Funchal to which we could move after 4 nights.

Nice House

We enjoyed our stay very much, the pool was a nice surprise which our children loved, the view from the balcony is very nice. Joao was very kind and helped with everything.
