"We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights and really enjoyed our stay. You can’t beat the location. The rooms are a bit small and to look at the view I needed to stand on a chair but I knew that when I booked it so all good. We enjoyed drinks at the restaurant and lived the live music. We used the rooftop pool almost daily and it’s great place to watch the sunset or look at the stars late at night. We would recommend it."

"Das Hotel, ist klein und fein - etwas englischer Landhausstil - mit einer tollen Lage etwas weiter oben am Berg in Funchal gelegen, deshalb hat man von dort eine tolle Aussicht hinunter Richtung Hafen und Meer und auch über ganz Funchal. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen - mehr geht immer aber ich finde das braucht man nicht. Das Restaurant für den Abend hat eine top Küche - sehr raffiniert, besonders und lecker. Es gibt einen schönen Pool...
