"You need to understand what is a capsule hotel. Even though it looks a bit weird, it does exactly what it is made for. Giving you a place to sleep, dry and clean. The commodities are shared by all the customers, so you have to expect some flaws. Not because of the staff… they were always vacuuming the carpet and answering all the customers but this place bring a lot of weird persons and some don’t clean after them. I really enjoyed that place."

"Great place for solo travers to stay. Good amenities and clean. While yes, you can hear everything that goes on around you, including alarms, snoring, and the train, they have free earplugs. The bedding is about the same hardness as a futon on a tatami. The only complaint is the stiffness of the pillow. Otherwise, the lockers are big enough for one backpack and one carryon. "It was a nice, clean and quiet capsule hotel."

"It's a capsule hotel. Surprisingly not claustrophobic. Clean and mostly comfortable. Wasn't too crowded when we were there (we got two pods). Everything was clean and easy. Worked great as a last night before flying out in the morning. Very convenient to get to Haneda airport - Yamanote line to the monorail"

"Once again, the staff was lovely, I can easily plug my Switch into the TV and the capsule are stuffy (but I have a fan, which makes it quite pleasant) and there's comfortable bedding. There's a lovely Family Mart just down the street and vending machines galore in the area. On the down-side, the building seems a bit run-down and the smell of smoke often drifts into the elevator. All in all, a good place to stay, when it's cheap (which seems to be 'pretty much always')."

"1 Night ¥1980 Hotel is everything you could ask for and more out of a hotel with the lower nightly rate you pay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (coming from someone who doesn’t speak nearly any Japanese). The dorm areas had cleaning staff going through everyday ensuring garbages were emptied, bathrooms, floors, etc.., were clean. Only a 5 minutes walk to Iriya station so very easy to get around Tokyo. I had no troubles with noise from other guests, everyone was very respectful...

"Without Google Maps would never have found it. No English signage, entrance looks more like an apartment, entrance in an alley, and front desk is on the top floor.
