"The hotel was nice. Parking was easy and the staff was all great. The restaurant is in the same area as the indoor pool so I can see where some negative comments regarding that come from. It was noisy and of course smelled like an indoor pool area. The food was good so that made up for it. The air conditioning in our room was broken during our stay. They compensated us for it not working which I thought was fair. We were there off season so many things were not open yet so I cannot give a full review of the property offerings. "

"At check in the Apple Pay system didn’t work and I was forced to use another card that made it challenging for me. I spent a half hour in the phone with the bank and there was no issue with my account. I was able to buy food with the same Apple Pay card system just a half hour later. Apple Pay is safer in protecting from fraud so using my physical card was not okay for my comfort. The to go breakfast was in a cramped room. The food was not good. The fruit wasn’t fresh. The selections were very poor in quality. The pool is just the size of a few tubs. Even too small for one person to “swim”. Also, the “indoor”!pool only has outside access so if it’s cold outside (which it was while I was there), you are going to be wet and freezing going back to your room. It really shouldn’t be called an “indoor” pool. I requested a room closer to a view of the shoreline, but wasn’t told that there’d be a significant charge and when I got there I was surprised. The room had double beds, one was a cot style (not told to me beforehand), so one was low to the ground and the other was standard. Definitely uncomfortable to sleep on. But the room was significantly smaller than a room with two beds should be. I weigh 133 pounds and I was squeezing to get to bed, to microwave food and move about. Maybe a fire hazard. The bathroom tub is hard to get into. It iso high up to climb in and it had no safety handle bar to get in and out. I’m 5’ 1” so getting in & out of tub was hard! "

"Good room size and right on the boardwalk. Room was clean and had a nice balcony. Only down side was the shop under us with music during the day,but you expect that at a busy part of Ocean City. Overall well worth the price. Just remember this is not a Marriott or the Ritz."

"I've been thinking about this a lot, because although we had a good deal on the rates, considering we're in the shoulder season, they should be decent.... There was ONE big issue. No WI-FI for the whole 3 days, and we got a couple of responses but none were really valid. No one offered to provide some sort of refund, and we had to pay for some sort of hot spot so my husband could complete a work thing. The location is perfect for beach and boardwalk, although loud during the day, and even into the night we kept hearing music. Fairly clean throughout, staff was nice enough, older building and fixtures, nothing fancy. Got the job done, except for Wi-Fi. Parking was fine, but I can see how during the busy season it will fill up fast and then you'll have to park in a further lot. We got lucky with that. "
