"This was a really awesome place to spend the weekend. My girlfriend and I were looking for a unique place to stay while exploring the Mississippi Palisades and the surrounding hiking areas and this did not disappoint. The location was great; right downtown in Savanna and only about 10 minutes from the park. The apartment was clean, cozy, and well-furnished. Communication with the owners was great and the check in/check out was super smooth. We would absolutely stay here again! "

"An historic old general store that has been converted and updated to a modern, fun apartment. The back "Tiki Bar Deck" is literally "spitting distance" from the banks of the Mississippi River. the interior is completely modern with updated appliances, 4 TV's, an interior bar and a very comfortable living area. Also, the property is right on the river walk/bike trail. I have stayed at this property three times now and always go back when I am in the area. I highly recommend this property "

"The 2 bed apartment was just what we needed for our stay. Travelling with my husband and mother, didnt want to get 2 hotel rooms and have to be apart, so the 2 bed apartment met our needs for us to be able to stay together, and we were even able to bring the fur baby. Definitely enough spave for us to enjoy being together without being on top of each other. The unit has a sliding door with a patio to enjoy the serene outdoors of Mt Carroll. "My brother and I stayed here. Nice to find a place with two bedrooms at such a reasonable price. Beautiful country setting with lots of wildlife running around by your private patio. Inside was warm and inviting with everything you needed. Host was very responsive, and very friendly. Highly recommend!!"
