The food is excellent as well, although it’s worth noting that both the dinner and breakfast are very generous meals - best not to eat too much beforehand! "Very nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The free shuttle bus between the hotel and train station is worth knowing about before you arrive! It was a perfect location for exploring the historical areas in Kanazawa. We had a Japanese style room which had novelty for us, plenty of space and comfortable; although sleeping on a futon is “firm” so perfect for a short stay."

"Lovely stay very nicely decorated boutique hotel. The only negatives were the wifi wasn’t very good and you could hear the traffic from the main road (from the 3rd floor) maybe rooms higher up would be quieter."

"The rooms very basic but very clean. The bed was comfortable and everything worked. The bathroom is on the smaller side of things. The location is unbeatable and can be reached easily by bus. The staff was a highlight of our stay."
