There are a number of options for food and entertainment around the station, and this is a great hotel to stay at if you’re planning to go to the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum. "We enjoyed being able to watch the river as we bathed in the open air bath. Plenty of amenities provided, staff was super friendly and helpful, and room was lovely and spacious. Japanese breakfast was huge and delicious and it was wonderful to try some regional specialities."

"The people is extremely warm and welcoming, including reception and the lady serving us from check in to dining. The young lady can speak english, we have a great time there. We use the public onsen before dinner so there are not much people. The private onsen in the room also great, but will be a bit small if two people bath together. Will definitely recommend this place to people who want to experience Japanese traditional onsen culture and dining. "

"2nd floor has a very fish oil smell from the restaurant. Besides that, the modern Japanese rooms are unreal, awesome amenities, great onsen, with a cold pool, no sauna. Staff were excellent, there are places for smoking. A Family Mart just around the corner, and good restaurants around, although is dark to walk around at night. But seems more for groups and families that are staying exclusively in the onsen."
