Great views of Mt Fuji

A perfect hotel for great views of Mt Fuji and some peace and quiet. Although it's 2 hours from the site, I prefer it. Wonderful staff, clean, helpful, great breakfast!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only stayed 1 night as i was passing thru on to Tokyo. Only thing that was a little off was that they had you take off your shoes and store thrm into a locker in the lobby. A bit strange.

Great hotel with amazing view of Mount Fuji

Hotel is located near the bus stop which makes it easy to catch the bus from Shin-Fuji station if you arrive by Shinkansen. View of Mount Fuji from the hotel room was amazing! Very glad I picked the room with the Mount Fuji view. Staff were very friendly. There is a strict 3pm check in however you can leave your luggage if you arrive early. You just take off your shoes when entering past the lobby up to your room. You must give you shoe locker and room keycard at front desk whenever you leave the hotel. This is a good system to make sure you don’t lose your room keys when traveling outside. Free breakfast was included and it is common Japanese style breakfast buffet. Coin Laundry is great as there is also a dryer.

Good value for money and nice view

Good value for money. Free parking. My hotel room was on 10/F and had a very clear view of Mt. Fuji. The toilet and bathroom are separated in two rooms, giving quite a large bathing space with tub. But the hot water was not stable so that I experienced acceptable fluctuating water temperature when showering. As many others said, you have to put off your shoes at the lobby, and the staff will give you a key to store your shoes in the locker at lobby and provide disposable slippers to you. Free Japanese breakfast which does not have much choice and only available before 9am.

Need to adjust your expectations

I think it is a good place to stay for business or if you plan to be out all day. I was visiting my sister in town and it worked out okay, but it really threw me off when I found out I had to be out of the hotel between 10-3. It’s not like regular hotel where you can come and go at your leisure. I also was not crazy about having to lock my shoes to enter, and if you happen to return to hotel when there is a line of people checking in, you have to wait just to get your key for your shoe box. The room is clean and the bed was comfortable, but the particular room I was in had no closet. You basically had to live out of your bag/suitcase. I got used to it after few days but you do have to adjust your expectations. Overall, my stay at this hotel was fine, but I was not crazy about it.

The staff were very kind at this location. I did not mind removing our shoes before entering the guest floors since it kept things extermely sanitary. Breakfast was never overcrowed. City Hall is across the street and if it isn't cloudy, you'll get a great view of the mountain. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
