Wonderful hotel in old building (i think he said 13th century). The couple running it are sweet and it is clearly a labor of love. Fantastic breakfast, cute cat to pet, comfortable beds and room. The town is lovely and well worth checking out too.

We loved this property, and Füssen!! Wish we had more time in/at both! The owner of the hotel was so nice, helpful and proud of his little town. Breakfast was great and very affordable, and our room was comfortable and large. Would definitely recommend, and would definitely stay again!!

Its not a 5* hotel. Its an old house without lift and you have to take some stairs to your room. It has very kind host who will help you on everything. Its very cheap, clean, spacey, fantastic location. Our room had even nice view.

Period place with quirky hosts. Room was massive with multiple beds and kitchenette. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was excellent and offered to pack a lunch pack too. Location was great, close to station and town centre. Thanks.

Alex was an incredible host, he sat us down explained all the things to do in Fussen, got us set up with bus passes and got our car parked immediately and told us to leave it as long as we liked. We were so happy we booked a second night within an hour of being here. After walking around we realized we were basically in he middle of the old town with restaurants, shopping, bus routes etc right outside our doorstep. It is not hard to see why this place was given 10/10 it was our absolute favorite stay in Germany and many thanks to Alex and his family for opening up their home

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property in August. We had two different reservations so we stayed at two different family rooms which both were HUGE! Although this house is 720 years old, it is in perfect shape, the rooms are very bright and clean. The property owner did his best to accomodate us in every way. He provided us with Fussen city cards and even walked us downt to the bus stop(because he knew the shortcut). The location is also great and there is a private parking just right in front of the house. The old town, the house, the atmosphere all were magical. Super happy family here!

We had a wonderful stay here. The host was so friendly and helpful with tips around the area. We enjoyed the spread for breakfast and the complimentary drinks and conversation. Our suite was much bigger than expected with an entire living area and kitchenette complete with a wood burning stove and a separate bedroom which was very spacious. This is a historic building and has its quirks and lots of vintage fixtures and furniture. As with most older buildings there is not much soundproofing, but this is easily remedied with using a white noise app on your phone or earplugs. You can walk everywhere in town from here. It's the perfect place to stay and I would definitely stay again. Can't recommend enough.

An excellent family run hotel with lots of character. It was a little challenging to find via car, but that was Google Maps fault. Our room was simply enormous and included a fridge and kitchenette. The hotel is a converted home several centuries old so I am sure every room is different and unique. Breakfast in the morning was simply wonderful. The proprietor encouraged us to make sandwiches for lunch and even provided bags to put them in. The location is very convenient to Neuschwanstein. We drove, but the proprietor made sure we knew there was a bus available close by if we wanted to avoid paying to park in Schwangau. He did absolutely everything he could to save us money, and I deeply appreciated it. Exceptionally reasonable rates and wonderful service. I would absolutely stay here again!

Der Inhaber war super freundlich. Er hat und direkt empfangen, uns den Parkplatz gezeigt und und alle jeglichen Tipps und Infos zur Erkundung von Füssen gegeben. Total herzlich. Unterkunft ist in einem sehr alten denkmalgeschützten Gebäude. Trotzdem ist alles sehr sauber gehalten und es ist alles da was man benötigt. Wir würden immer wieder kommen.

It is always such a treat when someone opens up their home that is quite historic and to share some of the history with you. The proximity of the property to the train station was so convenient for our family.
