"Beautiful villa set in a very picturesque location with fantastic views. Great for a nice peaceful stay. Lovely pool area and spacious rooms. It was great to find shade under the area with a day bed. Owner was helpful and had Left plenty of towels."

"The listing was accurate. It is a lovely looking villa in an isolated hilltop position (with fabulous views).We’ve driven on far worse roads in Italy and Spain, but steady hands and concentration are required all the way up and down; the one time that reversing was required was interesting!The villa was clean and well presented when we arrived (having met and followed the property manager Carl for the initial welcome). He was always quick to respond with our queries; thanks Carl.The villa is great. It’s modern, comfortable, the a/c works well, and the kitchen/dining area had enough space for us to move around.Outside, the bbq is fab, the pool is a good size, and there’s plenty of places to sit, sunbathe and relax. Once the sun has risen over the mountains above Cómpeta, the villa was in constant sunshine all day. There are places to find shade if you need it. The pool was always warm.It’s about 25 minutes to walk down the “road” to Archez; it might take you longer to walk back up!We had a great week relaxing here. It’s ideal for those who want privacy and don’t mind driving. You can see Cómpeta from the villa. It’s only 6 km away, yet takes 16 minutes. Hope you enjoy your stay here; all six of us did."

"Host phoned us day before check in to ensure we had directions to property. Madeleine sent us a detailed map which we needed as we arrived in the dark. Rural property so definitely need a car.Property was v clean and as advertised. Plenty of utensils and dishes. Nice patio area. Highlight of this stay is the pool area. Immaculately maintained and although it was a shared pool, we rarely had to share it with anyone else all day. Fantastic . Good position property for visiting Granada, Málaga and lots of nearby towns and villages. Did a great walking trail in mountains nearby. Great week's holiday- thankyou."

"Ein sehr schönes Haus mit guter Ausstattung und stilvoller Einrichtung. Das Grundstück ist sehr schön angelegt. Die Poolterrasse und die beiden Terrassen am Haus sind tolle Aufenthaltsorte. Der Pool ist sehr angenehm. Von den vorderen Terrassen hat man eine schöne Aussicht auf die Stadt und das Meer und auf die umgebenden Berge. Die Anfahrt auf den kleinen Bergstraßen ist nicht ganz einfach, aber machbar. Ventilatoren sind vorhanden und nachts sehr nützlich."

"Charming mountain hide away, lovingly decorated throughout. Views are amazing and a nice pool for those chilled out days. The best welcome you could ever get, very friendly, helpful hosts. Fresh breakfast prepared daily by Linsey, which tasted delicious. Don't ever pass up on her sourdough! You will not be disappointed should you visit, Cant recommend it enough."
