Nice size apt in a great location. Couldn't exit the bldg easily w key, which did not work properly. Finely found out thru friends that there is a button you can press to get out. AC did work in one BR. Refrigerator was not securely seated in kitchen. Pipe burst in the main bathroom. All issues were addressed but not all were taken care of. No detailed info was given about anything. Just to make sure everything was turned off and leave key on table when leaving at the end of the week.

Long weekend in Fuengirola

We chose to stay in this property as we had considered using it for a 3/4 week visit in early 2025 and wanted to check it out as i was refused when I tried to arrange a viewing when in Fuengirola earlier in the year. The advertisement on Vrbo is fairly accurate and correspondence with them was good although I wonder why it’s not possible to be provided with the information etc earlier than the day before our visit There were however items that spoiled our enjoyment. On night one the smoke alarm in bedroom 2 was on the blink which made the room unusable. Generally the air conditioning in that room is also fairly inefficient. The small shower creates its own water carnival and flushing the toilet (liquids only!) leaves a disgusting smell that takes some time to dissipate. The lock to the front door to the apartment block going out does not work. It’s possible to effect a work around by pushing the catch back With a credit card but it was very disconcerting to think we were locked in before we discovered this We were also charged a substantial cleaning fee yet there was plenty of the apartment that had not seen a duster for some time Overall it is difficult to give the apartment anything better than a 6/10 and we have cancelled our proposed 2025 visit. Shame really 🤔
