Three-story Canadian Lighthouse

The 1300 sq foot 2 bedroom house is on 10.5 acres in the White Mountains. Each floor has something unique to offer. From the spacious kitchen to the cozy living room. The master has 8 windows and a 4 foot sky light with additional seating area. We are on the snowmobile trail F14. A short drive to Mt Cranmore and Shawne peak. During the summer there is much to do. You can rent a canoe or tube and float down the Saco river. Most all of the ski areas have activities like downhill mountain biking. You can go into North Conway to enjoy endless restaurants and outlet stores.

Lighthouse Visit

Perfect Stay!

This was our second time staying here. We really enjoyed our stay again!! My husband is originally from Fryeburg, so we come back often to visit friends and family. This is our favorite place to stay! It's extremely clean and comfortable. The hosts are wonderful! Very attentive and always respond quickly. It is in a great location with beautiful views all around.

Perfect spot for a local family Thanksgiving

We got super lucky that this house was just a couple properties down from our family. It was super cozy with the incredible snow all of Thanksgiving day and night. Such a magical experience.

Just perfect

This was our second time staying at this property. We love the lighthouse. It’s just the right size for my husband, myself and our 2 boys. Lots of games inside and great area to run around and play outside.

This property is new and super clean. There are window AC's in the bedrooms. The sitting room is located on the 2nd floor and is cozy for 2 people with large TV. The main bedroom is located on the 3rd level, but the staircase is wide and easily manageable if you are an older adult. The host, Bob, is extremely accommodating.

Beautiful property

My sisters and I went to spend time at the fair the house was perfectly located . We never got stuck in any of the fair traffic. The property was perfect it had everything thing you could need or want to have a great stay. It was very clean Bob was very helpful and friendly. If you are going to Fryeburg this is the perfect place to stay you will not be disappointed.

Cozy Unique Getaway

Very cool lighthouse property in the secluded neighborhood was a great place to come back after a full day of skiing. Our family enjoyed beautiful and well appointed house, high ceilings, yet cozy. Angela and Bob were great hosts, responded promptly to any of our questions. Reaching out prior to the trip and providing instructions was very helpful. Overall, great place to stay! Eli

Very Cool & Comfortable Place

The lighthouse was fantastic! Handcrafted by the owner and everything there is updated and new. Very cool build!!! The house is much more spacious inside than the pictures show. Primary bedroom was a delightful sleep. Place was setup with everything needed to cook and to have a nice dinner. There’s a toaster, microwave & a Kuerig so bring your favorite k-cups. Communication with Bob was easy and he was extremely responsive. Only 15 mins from my favorite lake in the world where you can rent boats daily. Thank you again, Bob!! A++

Loved this place!

We recently had the pleasure of staying in this stunning Vrbo house rental in Maine, and I cannot express enough how amazing our experience was. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty and charm of this unique home. First, the location was perfect. Nestled on the NH/Maine border, surrounded by breathtaking nature, and just a stone's throw away from North Conway, this rental provided us with the ideal escape from our everyday lives. The house itself was nothing short of a dream. Impeccably designed and furnished, it felt like walking into a luxurious retreat. The spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and tasteful decor made us feel right at home. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials, allowing us to prepare delicious meals within a wilderness backdrop. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the house was remarkable. It was evident that the host went above and beyond to maintain a spotless and hygienic environment. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our entire stay. Lastly, I cannot fail to mention the incredible value for money that this rental offered. Considering the quality of the accommodation, the stunning location, and the outstanding service, we truly felt like we were getting a five-star experience at an affordable price. Unique sleeps would be great if you could sleep past the sunrise!

The place was extremely clean. It was a very cute place. The location was great. The place was stocked well with many things and had very comfortable beds and nice furniture. However, the master was in the loft with 8 windows that had no window coverings at all. On top of that the skylight was right over the bed to shine the sun right on you first thing. So if you’re an early riser it’s great but if your not this may be a problem for you. There was also no blinds on any of the windows on the other levels as well. This left us feeling very exposed and a bit uncomfortable. One other thing I would recommend to the owners would be to install towel racks in the bathrooms for hand towels and bath towels, especially since there isn’t a lot of counter space. Finally, some coasters for glasses would help to protect the lovely furniture in the place. I believe the owners are just starting with this project of theirs so I am sure they are still working out some kinks. Hopefully this will be looked upon as a helpful critique. Any issues we mhad are all very easily fixed in order to make this a 5 star rental easily.

Beautiful place overall

Arrival to the property was much easier than expected and the snow was cleaned up very nicely. We did notice immediately on walking in that the building smelled of cigarette smoke. This was quite a big issue since we had a baby and my husband has breathing issues. We were able to air the house out enough to breathe decently. The house itself was very nice to stay in. Not the safest place for a baby with the open stairs but I didn’t expect it to be baby friendly so that wasn’t a big issue. Location was super close to ski mountains and stores are right down the road. Beds were super comfy and clean. We loved the place just were disappointed with it being labeled as “non-smoking” when it wasn’t.

Perfect friends getaway

I went with two friends to the property and it was great! It was a little out of town but I liked that! Super clean, nice house overall! Plenty of towels and board games! Cute outdoor seating out front too! My only complaint was the lack of curtains so the main bedroom was so bright in the am! Luckily, we are morning people so it worked for us.
