"Dirty, smelly, hair in the bed, run down, noisy. Everything I don't want in a room, this place had it. I dropped a towel on the floor, picked it up, and it had dirt caked on it. That's how dirty the floors were. I skipped the shower in the morning and left as soon as the sun was up. If I ranked every hotel/motel that I've stayed in during my entire life, I would rank this one dead last. If you're going North on 191 continue to Moab. If south, better options in Blanding. I fell for the other reviews, which I cannot believe are real."

"Well… if you’re lookin’ for a true “backwoods survival meets glamping” experience—this might be your place 😅 Bathroom? Oh ya, that’s a little nighttime adventure down a pitch-black trail (solar lights optional apparently). Nothing gets the heart rate up quite like punching in a code while wondering if the coyotes are clockin’ in for their shift too. The dome windows were so dirty we couldn’t even enjoy the “deer at your doorstep” moment—which was kinda the whole point. Never saw an owner, trails were more of a guessing game, and parking’s a hike away… so pack like you mean it. All in all, felt less like luxury glamping and more like camping with a fancy roof. Wouldn’t recommend… unless you’re trainin’ for Survivor: Upper Peninsula edition."

"We always have chosen this motel because of location and good price! It is a no thrills motel but the staff are very nice ! It is near beautiful outdoor adventures!"

"This room served our needs well on this trip! We needed a touchdown spot when the weather tanked and we were unable to camp. The room was neat and clean and the bed was comfortable."

"Parking was right in front. Plenty of it was on main Street though so if you don't have some way to block the highway noise it could be bothersome to sleep. But place was very clean and convenient"

"We had the most incredible time at this property! Monticello is a cute little town with very nice people! The house was immaculate and felt like home! The house had everything we needed - the upgrades were fantastic, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was large, and the kitchen was exceptional. We even had deer stolling by in the mornings and evenings! The communication with the owner was top notch as well! I would love to come back!"

"This house has the very basic items in the kitchen. Though not any kitchen towels or kitchen cloths.They did provide shampoo, but no conditioner. Body wash was provided as well. There is no hair dryer, so plan to bring your own. I mentioned to Kayla, the host that the bathroom sink is clogged with no reply. I asked for another wash cloth since there was only one. She did not reply. I slept in the larger bedroom. The bed is hard. In my opinion could use at least a pillow top mattress on top to be a little softer. Overall, the house worked for what i needed it to."
