"Restaurant was closed for a private HOA party so we had to go out. This was not made known to us until we had friends come and meet us at the venue. Not a big deal but they should have kept a part of the restaurant open for hotel guests."

Quite getaway
"The property was clean, quaint, and relaxing for our girls weekend getaway. We enjoyed the peace of the cabin, wildlife, and seclusion it offered. The drive to Shenandoah national park was very quick and the views amazing!"

The town and surrounding areas are beautiful with lots of different attractions. I was there to attend my mother's funeral

We thoroughly enjoyed the town and the surrounding area. This was a trip back in time for me (I grew up camping at Elizabeth Furnace) and it was a joy to be able to take the kids for new memories.

My family is from the area and I still love it though it has changed somewhat. This was the hotel we used for our guests to stay at for our wedding. So disappointed

The town has expanded outwards, but it is decaying in the original town. It apoears that little money has been invested in salvaging the original town, which is sad.
