"Für mein Empfinden stimmt hier leider das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht. Die Zimmer sind ziemlich spartanisch eingerichtet, was auch das neu renovierte Badezimmer nicht aufwiegen kann . Es gibt keinen Kühlschrank oder Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer. Die Möglichkeit seine Kleidung unter zu bringen ist auch sehr begrenzt. Die Lage direkt im Grünen ist schön ruhig, aber auch weit vom Schuss gelegen. Jetzt in der Coronazeit wurde auf die Zimmerreinigung während meines Aufenthaltes verzichtet. "

"The motel is quite interesting as it is inside of one of the famous Borsig Steam Engine Works dating back to 1898. Beautiful red brick construction! The halls and rooms of this manufacturing plant were nicely converted into rooms with all modern amenities. Everything was supplied, and the space was comfortable and clean. It is also very quiet. From the window you have a wonderful view of the grounds with outdoor seating, a playground, fitness equipment, a pingpong table, and grilling area. There is a vending machine with beverages and snacks, but I along with other guests could not get it to cooperate. Lots of helpful brochures of places to visit in Berlin. It was a very good stay."

"Die Wohnung liegt wunderschön im Grünen. Perfekt auch fürs Sommerjoggen bei heißeren Tagen. Bus ist wirklich um die Ecke. Fährt alle 10 Min. Wir konnten uns perfekt erholen nach einem Stadttag. Ist Wie Urlaub. Man merkt nicht, dass man in der Stadt ist. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Zimmer sind beide abschließbar.Leider sind an den Badfesntern keine Rollos/Sichtschutz. Man kann zwar keine Nachbarsfenster sehen, aber Abends würde ich nie mit Licht duschen, käme mir beobachtet vor, auch wenn ich weiß, dass es keine direkte Einsicht gibt. Auch ohne Fliegengitter keine Schnaken oder Fliegen in der Wohnung. Nachts konnten wir mit offenem Fenster schlafen. Der Rewe ist ein kleines Stückchen (5-10 Min.) durch den wunderschönen Wald.Tipp:Einkaufen morgens/vormittags planen, dann sind alle Lebensmittel da, die man will. Wir waren das erste Mal abends da, ich hab schon am Sortiment gezweifelt, bis ich am nächsten Morgen nochmal hin ging. Bringt Hausschuhe mit. Der Boden ist aus Holz, mein Mann hat sich einen Splitter eingefangen.Die Küche hat keine beschichtete Pfanne, Spiegeleier kann schwierig werden. Ansonsten super gut. Alles da, das man braucht. Und auf Spiegeleier kann man für ein paar Tage verzichten. Eiernudel hab ich hinbekommen und Töpfe lassen sicht sehr gut putzen."

"This was just a great place to stay for 4 days. Agnes and Martin did everything to make us comfortable. Not only were the accommodations within the “home” excellent, there were extras on the property - play equipment for children, a little zip line, soccer net, and a clubhouse. We had wanted to be in the countryside and were delighted with our choice. Thank you!"

"The Solitaire was perfect for my needs while visiting my son who lives in the Pankow neighborhood. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was very good. The neighborhood was upscale. Public transportation (bus) stops in front of the building, or 8 minute walk to mainline tram. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I plan on staying there again when I travel back to Pankow."
