"This little place is a hidden gem. The new owner is a very nice person. She is getting the property back into shape but the rooms are great. Clean and quaint. I would stay here any time I’m through. The value is well worth it. "

"This was a very nice, historic property. Some sections were undergoing renovation while we were there but our room seemed like it had been recently renovated. The tavern section of the hotel's restaurant had great food at a reasonable price. Our room was very spacious with a refrigerator. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed from the 3rd to 4th of July and the price was very reasonable (they didn't seem to change the price because of the holiday). "
"Cutest little house in the woods. We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars, and the very comfortable bed. It was quiet and relaxing in this home, and it was so nice to have the essentials provided (like coffee, sugar, creamer, garbage bags, paper towels, detergent). Very close to the brewery, and to the center of town. "

"This is our second time staying at The Lodge and we are again blown away! Everything is so comfortable and relaxing. My son loves the dome and stargazing at night with that beautiful big sky view. We loved unwinding in the hot tub and soaking in the sounds of nature. Everything is so well appointed and thought of for every need. We enjoyed a day down at Berkeley Springs (we booked some Roman Baths) and then swam in the crystal clear pool for a few hours. We enjoyed the local restaurants of Proof on Washington and The Panorama Public House Restaurant (get the Tagliatelle with the garlic aoili- you won’t regret!). Thanks again Sam and Jeff! We will see you again soon!"

"Beautiful house and guest house set up over a ridge. Secluded but also close to town. Nicely decorated and appointed. You have to take a dirt road up a steep hill but worth the trip. Difficult to find at night especially if you aren’t familiar with the area. Helped to drop a pin. Would have loved more towels for our large group. The check in process was a bit frustrating. The links wouldn’t open and kept having to ask for them to be emailed. Great stay overall! Would come again. "
"We enjoyed our stay at this adorable place! The host was very attentive and made sure everything met our expectations. The house itself was immaculate and was perfect for our couple's getaway to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The hot tub on the balcony was amazing. We highly recommend this property for a peaceful place to stay. The only negatives were that it was a little difficult to find the lane and the road was a bit rough (but it was worth it!). "
