Our family of 4 stayed at the Sarenne for a week. The location is great - walking distance to main street, the marina, and the bike path. The space was enough for the four of us; there is a little loft above the upstairs bathroom that my teenager slept in (and little means only big enough for a twin mattress and a bit of moving around). The way up is a ladder, which may be difficult for younger children to manage. The two bedrooms are downstairs, with sliding doors in each. We did not feel comfortable having the doors open during the night so the bedrooms did get warm. A standing fan is provided in each bedroom, which helped a bit. Beds and linens are comfortable and there were enough towels for everyone.
The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, cutlery, and plates/cups/bowls. The unit does get a lot of sunlight throughout the day, and without A/C, the upstairs and loft area got pretty toasty in the late afternoon.
There are two bike hooks on the back patio but other than that, there is not much storage if you plan to bring bikes or other outdoor gear.
The owner was easy to communicate with and check-in/check-out was seamless. We had an issue with a left behind item and the owner was super helpful in getting it returned to us. Overall, it was a great stay and we hope to return!
