"This is a perfect place to stay. So much wildlife to watch from the deck and the perfect place to watch the sunrise over the ocean. The home was clean and updated. We had the perfect host, we ended up having a flat tire on the their golf cart and the host replied right away and within 20 min we had a loaner dropped off to us. Great place to stay!! "

"This is a beautiful house. It comes well equipped with all the essentials as well as some extras that we didn't anticipate because they weren't in the listing. It was very clean and nicely decorated. We especially enjoyed using the bikes. We have rented houses many times at Fripp and this is the first house that included bikes for everyone. The location has its pros and cons depending on what you like about the island. This house is in a more wooded area of the island so it is somewhat secluded, but in walking distance to the main road and one of the parks that has a playground for smaller children. We visited in July so, unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the fire pit or porches due to the extreme heat and bugs. The kitchen is very small and there is no room to store dry food which is important to us because we make our own meals when we stay at Fripp, but we made it work. This house does NOT come with amenity cards like other rentals that we have had on the island, which was a bit of a disappointment. We only stayed for three nights/two days (for my daughter's 16th birthday) and we don't play tennis, pickleball, or golf, so it wasn't worth it to us to pay $260 for cards to essentially go to the pool one time. Just something to consider when you are selecting a vacation rental. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. "
