"t was a very fun house! The pool was awesome, the view from the balcony was amazing, and it got COLD at night!The only nitpicky things I would mention are that there weren’t many utensils or pans available, so if you plan on cooking a meal at the house, I would advise bringing EVERYTHING you need to prepare it. We did burgers and hot dogs outside, which worked out great, and I would definitely recommend utilizing the outdoor grill.One last thing: be careful in the pool. There are areas where it drops from about 3 feet to 5 feet pretty quickly, and you could easily twist an ankle if you’re not paying attention.Overall, this was a very fun weekend! There is A LOT of space for a huge group, plenty of places to sleep, and I would HIGHLY recommend this place for your next weekend getaway."

"Cabin was clean and nicely kept. If you want coffee, there is a small Keurig but no K-cups; a couple bottled waters are provided to start you with. You need to bring more bottles and K-cups but it was not a deal breaker for us. Jack-n-Jill bathroom, TV’s in each room. Mini split A/C’s were nice for different cooler/warmer sleeping people. No washer/dryer but was also not a deal breaker. Kitchen is stocked otherwise as far as cooking utensils, pots/pans, silverware, etc. Property is at the end of a long road so it feels very remote and safe, very quiet - however it is a one car road so there will be times you may need to pull off.There is another cabin in close proximity (I believe another rental of the same company) but we didn’t really mind - we never heard the other people, even when they were outside. You do have a dedicated driveway to your cabin so you’re not encroaching on the other cabin and likewise them to you. I do believe there was some property work going on during our stay so there a was a little machinery noise but we were already up and moving around (around 10am) so we were not woken up by beeping. Front door window blind is missing but all other windows are covered. We used a towel and hair ties fastened to the plastic pieces where a blind was at one point.Communication with hose was very fast and clear. We do plan to make a river trip a yearly thing and will plan to stay at this cabin again (or the neighboring one) if dates match up."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was enjoyable at the cabin. You do have an access pass to the river, but parking is about a football fields walk and the spot is pretty crowded on the weekends. Everyone is very friendly though! The washing machine is on site, but has a bad smell- so I would bring enough clothes! Other than that the place was clean and the beds were comfy. Thanks for a fun stay at the Frio!"

"House was excellent size for our family group of 18 - the pool was the perfect size for all the grandkids. The smoker was great for our grill out days. Everything was in short distance from the rental. We all had a fantastic time. Thank you"

"We had a fantastic stay at Concan Springs, Around the Bend Cabin. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. Country Store and River are within walking distance, and the drive to Garner State Park is not far. An excellent place to stay!"

"Ok, so let me start by saying that the place was Amazing, just as pictured. Plenty of space for everyone and plenty to do for all ages. The grounds are very well kept. Customer service was also, great, we rent a few times a year and it was so nice to have the level of service that was provided. We also purchased the linen package which only comes with sheets for beds that you have to put on and one towel per person, no hand towels, no wash clothes and no kitchen towels, a little disappointing. So take note of this when staying. With that being said you will not regret your choice. Should the opportunity present itself we would love to stay again and we will recommend to anyone that asks. Fun for the whole crowd!!!"
