"I went here on a retreat with 8th graders. The property was clean and well prepared. The recreational equipment was all in good order. The kitchen was adequate for cooking feeding a large group. The place would also be excellent for a reunion site. The decking, chairs and outside was spectacular with abundant seating areas in great condition."

It was in such a great location, about a 6 minute walk to the George Brown conference center, 5 minute walk to some really good bars, and a 10-15 minute walk to downtown. There were 9 of us in the VRBO and it never felt cramped. The host even allowed us to drop off our luggage early when our flight arrived before check in time, which was awesome! We would definitely stay here again."

Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pots and pans for large groups which is very impressive. The home is also very handicapped accessible which made our stay much smoother. "The house was big and had plenty of parking. Everything was pretty clean. The host was very responsive. There were some minor issues like the full bathroom door was broken so you couldn't close it. One of the closet doors in the bedroom was broken and the door knob from the garage was also broken/loose. I told the host about these issues and said they would notify their handyman. "Overall, this was a perfect place for our extended weekend stay. The kitchen was well stocked, though we did not use it much because of the easy access to great food at The Pit Room! We would recommend investing in new mattresses or toppers- as they were quite hard and uncomfortable for both my husband and myself."

"I would have given our stay 5 stars except some items in the house were not working well. The kitchen faucet was very loose and the front door was almost impossible to lock. I am aware the host is working on fixing these issues so it’s possible they will be repaired quickly."
