"We had the most amazing stay! Thank you to the hosts and the staff for making our trip so special. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. It is beautiful. My husband and I enjoy a good breakfast, and this is probably the best breakfast we’ve had in years. They accommodated dietary restrictions and have a phenomenal breakfast room with lake views. The location is stunning with breathtaking views of the lake. We haven’t been so relaxed in awhile. Truly, a remarkable place, and we’ve been telling our friends about how amazing it was. The service, facility, and accommodations are unbeatable and the people who operate it are special. We look forward to coming back! Thank you for the best stay!!! "

"I chose this hotel at the last minute, extending a work trip into a quick vacation. I am so glad we did! It's so much more than just a place to sleep for the night. The property was beautiful and the building itself was so interesting. I really appreciated the way the hotel has modern accommodations, while still maintaining many charming characteristics that make you feel as if you've stepped back in time. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner on the Veranda and breakfast the next morning in the dining room. Both meals were excellent! The staff was very friendly and someone was always at the front desk for any questions. It was a wonderful experience. If you are a fan of historical TV shows and wish to immerse yourself in one, you should stay here!"

"Such a great place to stay. Easy to find, super clean, and the hosts go above and beyond. The house is fantastic and every little detail is very thought out. The hiking trails are more than adequately marked which was great. What I wasn’t aware of was the hobbit house is also on the property and not far from the treehouse. Will be coming back to stay in the hobbit house as well "
