"This was our first time ever booking a VRBO. We decided on a getaway for our 20th anniversary and the cabin did not disappoint. Overall it was a comfy and serene cabin with all the amenities needed for a weekend getaway. The Hot tub was a nice bonus after a day of exploring Beavers Bend State Park. Only negatives about this trip was that everything on the deck and around the fire pit was covered in pollen, the charcoal grill needed to be cleaned before we could use it but there was no brush or anything to clean it with, would be nice to have some hangers in the closet for clothes, and even with the privacy fence the neighbors next door were looking right over the fence when they were on the back steps of their cabin which made things a little uncomfortable. Would definitely stay again though. Great location to all there is to do. "

"Hotel room was disgusting. We were going to stay for two nights but left after the first night. When we arrived, the room was extremely dusty, and there was hair on the comforter as if it was not washed. There was two holes in the ceiling that were cut for maintenance, but not repaired and a chair in the middle of the room that was so disgusting. I would not let my kids sit on it. My daughter found small blood stains on the sheets when she woke up in the morning. I asked if it was from her she said no it must’ve been from who stayed before. We put that we went to the room cleaned on the door and was gone to the park all day. We came back. The room was the same, but they had made the beds. We pulled back the comforter to check and see if they had replaced the sheets and it was the same sheets so we pack her stuff up and left. Will not go back."

"Fantastic location and beautiful home! We had 5 couples and everyone having their own king size bed was perfect. The outdoor patio was a great breezy area for all of us to relax and socialize. The kitchen was perfect for cooking our meals with a huge dining table to seat us all. Overall, this house hits every mark, we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. "

"The cabin was very comfortable. Beds were comfy and kitchen was beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub, game room and fire pit. The host was very responsive. We look forward to coming back."

"The property was fun and whimsical and loved the outdoor patio and grill area. Didn't need anything as we were blessed with coffee and provided with all you would need to cook. The bathroom was nice and roomy and the fireplace was nice as well as the sofa and bed comfy comfortable. The walk to the door was a little bit of a challenge with these old knees but we were fine. Would stay again! "

"Three families, nine people total (six adults and three kids), and somehow nobody ended up sleeping in the bathtub or fighting over couch space. That alone deserves five stars.The location was great and the house has two driveways, which made coming and going super easy. The only thing that could use a little love is the road in front of the house. It’s a bit rough… not “lose-a-tire” rough, but enough to make you wonder if the city accidentally paved it with leftover gravel. Not the owner’s fault though.The house itself was super clean and had plenty of space for all of us. We never felt cramped, which is impressive with that many people under one roof. There are tons of windows too, so the natural lighting makes the whole place feel bright and open.The amenities were a big hit with our crew. The hot tub got plenty of use, the cornhole games got competitive (and slightly questionable after a few drinks), and the fire pit was perfect for winding down at night.Brad was fantastic to deal with. He responded quickly anytime we had a question and even let us check in two hours early, which made arrival way smoother with a group our size.If I had to list a con, it would just be that the nightly price felt a little high at first glance. That said, it’s pretty much right in line with other places in the area, and once we were there it felt worth it.Overall we had a great stay. I’d definitely recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to book here again."

"For future guests, I wanted to note that the VRBO map location appears to be inaccurate. It currently shows the property near Broken Bow Lake on the peninsula east of Highway 259, but the home is actually located west of 259 and a bit farther north. We selected the property in part based on the mapped location. I did mention this to the management team, though I’m not sure whether it has been updated yet.The driveway is long and fairly steep, leading down to the home, which is situated at the bottom of a hill between two other houses. The turnaround space is somewhat tight, so maneuvering in and out can be challenging (we had a minivan).The house itself was clean and otherwise matched the listing description. The Wi-Fi was somewhat inconsistent, similar to what other reviewers have mentioned. If you plan to use the firepit in the evening, you may want to bring a flashlight, as the back stairs are not lit. We also replaced the battery in one of the bedroom clocks during our stay. "
