"This was a very nice quiet unplugged family gathering. Great kitchen for cooking our meals. We very much enjoyedthe hot tub and watching the wildlife. The only thing that is even slightly negative is that there wasn't a landline as the paperwork stated and cell service is not good. "

"This house was even better than what was portrayed online. The home was so clean. The views, especially at sunset, were spectacular. My 10 year old and I used the kayaks each morning. The proximity to the sculpture park and roche harbor was ideal and friday harbor was still only a 15 minute drive. We hiked at the english camp and ran the roche harbor trials. Host was very responsive before the trip and came to relight a pilot switch about 30 minutes after we contacted her. If we ever make it...

"Stayed here with family (total 4 adults and 4 kiddos). Communication beforehand was great, the property was easy to get to, and the views were as amazing as you would expect. The kitchen, dining, and living areas were as pictured, and really take advantage of the amazing water views. Its a house with cool bones in a great location. What you can't really tell from the pictures is that one of the bathrooms has aging wall-to-wall carpet over most of the floor (there is tile right by the toilet)....

"A darling place right on the water with an amazing view! We stayed here to attend a wedding at Captain Whidbey Inn about 100 yards away so the location was perfect. A few things that weren’t so great: “Garbage disposal not for first use” Understandably, due to a sensitive septic system, they don’t want you putting food down the kitchen sink. However, a disabled disposal with a clearly marked switch that doesn’t work only adds confusion and a sink that does not drain and backs up immediately...

"Really neat home that fueled lots of fun and even a ghost story or two from my kids. Great for families wanting to do reunions etc as multiple masters are there. Town and supplies are less than 10 minutes away but its very private. Beautiful star gazing"

"This place is located in a nice quiet neighborhood with wildlife. We saw fox and deer on the property. This place has everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. The property was just as advertised, especially the bedrooms were very nice for the 6 of us and the kitchen area was well stocked for cooking at home. Thank you for letting us stay at your place. I highly recommend this place if looking for a San Juan Island retreat."
