"We traveled to Fermiselle to trace my family roots as my great grandfather immigrated to Cuba from there in the 1920’s. To say that the manager was accommodating would be an understatement. He took me and my father to the house where my great grandfather and aunts lived. We drove around town talking to anyone who would remember the family. It was wonderful!! "Lovely, quiet place, close to very beautiful scenery and authentic Portuguese rural experience. Loved the burros! But like most pools in Portugal, too cold to use. Not sure why no one installs solar water heaters on a nearby roof top to heat the pool as it would be fairly inexpensive investment. Also wonder why most of all shower enclosures in Europe leak water onto the floor."
