"It was fantastic! Honestly I cannot fault it, the only thing I’d suggest is a thin mattress topper so that you can’t feel the buttons on the mattress. Staff were lovely, everything in the room you could want. I appreciated the little bottle of semi skimmed milk in the fridge, and bottles of water!"

"Have to say I was super impressed with this inn. First off, the rooms aren’t big but they are comfortable and the bathrooms are big for England. The bed linens were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Would come back for those alone but really the best part of the entire stay was the staff. Specifically David and Anja. "We felt very welcome at the Hampshire Hog from the moment we walked through the door. The staff were friendly and efficient and not only seemed to really care about guests but also about each other - they appeared to have the right sort of rapport with each other, making everything run very smoothly."

"We booked for an overnight stay at a wedding. Room was beautiful, attached to a lovely pub, and the breakfast was superb as well. The best part of the stay, however, was the lovely staff! "The location of the hotel is stunning, with great views from the top of Leith. Very, very quiet surroundings. The room was comfortable but with repairs needed to furniture and equipment. Food was good quality but be prepared for a wait. An interesting stay!"

"Would recommend this to anyone! Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful bed, so comfy. Lovely large room with tea & coffee making, ironing board, iron, and a jar of jelly beans! Very clean. Had a meal in the restaurant with friends. It was delicious. I had cottage pie, our friends had the pork stuffing pie, great desserts and was not overpriced either."

"Me and my husband have spent one nigh at the white hart and we'll be coming back for sure! The room was nice an clean, the bathroom was very clean too. Bed is very comfortable, bed sheets are soft and perfectly clean. We also gad dinner and breakfast and the food was really high quality. "Stayed here as one of my night stops of the South Down Way Trail. Situated in the lovely little village of East Meon. The staff were very welcoming and and very accommodating. The room was perfectly acceptable for what I needed it for and I was blessed with the bath! Perfect for a soak after a long day of walking.
