"We had a terrific stay at the Criterion - Felicity was very welcoming on arrival and her sidekick [apologies, I didn't get her name] was very helpful throughout our stay. The room was very clean, bed was very comfortable - I like a reasonably firm bed, and the choice of pillows was good. Nice fluffy towels, good water pressure in the shower and a spacious room. Would have liked instructions re the heatpump, as I'm not familiar with operating heatpumps, and the shower 'leaks' in one corner, but apart from those small issues, our stay was excellent."

They went out of their way to leave an envelope on the front desk with our key card and info. It made our late check-in less stressful especially after missing our shuttle from the airport. Thank you again. Our room and amenities were clean and tidy, staff were lovely when checking out today. "

"The property is great for families or budget travellers with great location to New Brighton estuary, beach and shops. It was just around the corner from visiting our family, so convenient and we would definitely stay again."
