The place was perfect to celebrate my daughter’s 26th birthday! We hiked Enchanted Rock at sunset! It was so beautiful!

We were there for a nephew’s wedding so we wanted a place close to the venue. If you are attending a wedding at Contigo Ranch this is the place to stay. If you are not attending a wedding this is still a great place to stay. Lots of room and amenities with a peaceful location. It is a ways from town but still a great location. Would stay here again.

We found the property to be very welcoming and enjoyed the greeting we received from the deer! Rooms were spacious, beds comfortable and overall great accommodations! Especially enjoyed the backyard and the stars away from city lights. Great location - far enough away from hustle, bustle but close enough for shopping and wine tasting fun!

Great location close to enchanted rock. We enjoyed watching all of the deer at the deer feeder in the morning and it worked out perfect for us to wake up and head straight for our hike then clean up before we headed out.

This was our first vrbo stay. Loved the home. So very clean and bright and comfy beds very comfortable. We only drove 1/2 mile to the event and it was nice not to have to drive the windy road back to fredricksburg after the wedding. The kiddos loved seeing the wildlife. Thank you

We had a great stay in really nice recently renovated house. Perfect location for the wedding venue nearby. Enjoyed watching the deer in morning and evenings. There were small amenities that we do not often find in other VRBO’s. We would certainly stay here again!

Great home, very clean, and good proximity to town. We like to stay on the outskirts and the location of this home was perfect. Very quiet and loved seeing all the wildlife, especially the deer. We enjoyed hanging out with our friends in the backyard around the fire pit. We’ll definitely be back.

Great place to stay after visiting Fredericksburg. Completely remodeled, comfortable king size beds, lovely scenery. We hiked enchanted rock in the morning just a few minutes away.

Deer visited every day, as did the hummingbirds, and even a big black cow grazed by 😉 Be sure to walk the property to view wildflowers and butterflies of every color. House amenities were great and as advertised. Would stay again.

Fabulous property with everything we needed for our stay. We wanted to be out of town - and this was a perfect location. About a 20min drive from Fredericksburg and less than 10mins from Enchanted Rock Park. The fire pit in the back yard was a great touch to make smores and star gaze! Our teenagers loved it. Excellent property in rural location, perfect for nature lovers. Very clean and tidy outside. Inside, property is gorgeous! Beautiful finishes and accessories. Well stocked, very comfortable. Host was excellent to work with. We are rebooking soon for this time next year! :-)

What a wonderful cottage!!! The owners thought of EVERYTHING that was needed....it was immaculately clean and well taken care of. Many of us enjoyed climbing the hill behind the property for a wonderful view. This property is conveniently located close to Enchanted Rock as well as Fredericksburg. When we come back to this area, we will definitely stay here again.

Deer and turkeys were around the property and we enjoyed watching them. Good beds. Kitchen was efficient. Ice maker in the refrigerator was not working. Insufficient number of towels (3 towels for 4 people). In the welcome book the wi-fi information was incorrect. No information for the tv or light fans. The wi-fi information was in the email. We would rent this property again. Enjoyed our time there!
