Located just a few miles from Fredericksburg and right in the heart of many of the Hill Country Wineries, this 1925 farm home has been transformed into an elegant, romantic home away from home. It can accommodate 2-6 people. Over 300 acres surround the house great for walking and enjoying nature. Guests are welcome to drive or walk to the Pedernales River and bring fishing equipment to try your luck. Being a working ranch, many cattle and horses are seen roaming the property. The front porch has a swing and rocker enticing rest and relaxation. Inside, there are two bedrooms with private bathrooms each with a champagne bubble tub and a separate shower. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all of the necessities needed for your stay. Outside the kitchen a wood porch deck leads you to a large private deck with table and chairs plus loungers. But the best part of the deck is the large hot tub waiting for guests to enter.

We enjoyed our stay. Feels just like home. So quiet and relaxing. A nice comfortable house with all the amenities. Along with fresh homemade pastries and other breakfast items to choose from. We enjoyed the hot tub. Cows, cats, kittens, and deer visited us.

Peaceful and comfortable - this was our second time staying here and we always enjoy it. Monica provided lovely snacks drinks and a comfortable home. We always try to stay here when we come to Fredericksburg. We love the quiet, and seeing all of the deer and wild life just adds to the experience.

Cozy and well cared for. Loved that Monica was so thoughtful to remember our anniversary with a cake and other goodies. We slept so good st the ranch and I think even our little shih-tzu's loved it too.

Our family had a wonderful weekend in Fredericksburg. The property was exactly as described, and the check-in and check-out process were seamless. Monica left us an amazing array of yummy homemade breakfast foods. Our dog loved going for walks around the ranch. We look forward to staying here again in the near future!

This house had everything we could have ever wanted. The kitchen was fully equiped, the bathrooms were spacious, the hot tub was warmed, the firewood was stocked by the pit and the animals were friendly. My husband absolutely loved the remote location and we never even ventured into town. There were plenty of wineries & restaurants for us in the area.

This is a picturesque property quietly tucked away in the country but only 15 minutes from town. We instantly felt at home. My favorite part was sitting on the front porch swing and watching the deer. I hope to get to go back.

I had two teenage boys and they loved the property and Monica’s amazing treats. Enough space for them to run around. We visited the river daily, made campfires, played ping pong and enjoyed all the games in the house. Monica was communicative and a wonderful hostess.

We had a wonderful time staying at Among the Crepe Myrtles for our anniversary! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need for breakfast, snacks & smores! The hand-baked goodies were amazing and such a wonderful touch! The property was beautiful and we had so much privacy. We enjoyed the walk to the river and saw so much wildlife!! We can’t wait to return! The hot tub was a wonderful addition. Very close to town and even closer to the wineries!

An absolutely perfect stay, appreciated, having a good dog, friendly place where the dog literally dug her feet in and almost refused to leave when it came time. Extremely quiet and private and an excellent getaway. Not too far from Fredericksburg about 10 to 15 minutes out. Monica has thought of everything and all the little touches make a big difference, I will return just as soon as possible

My cousin and I LOVED it, she lives in the country, I however, do not, I live in Houston, and it's very stressful with all the chaos, so it was SO NICE AND QUIET AND PEACEFUL! The host was wonderful , she was very quick to respond to any questions we had! I love old houses with antiques, they take me back to simpler times, it was MUCH NEEDED!! I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is in need of peace , quiet and nature!!

Overall happy with our stay. It is away from the city but not too far about 10-15 mins. The outside is a little dirty with webs and bugs but it is on a ranch, so there’s that. Cats all over the property , one even climbed on the wire door. We barely got to see cows or horses. There’s a nice campfire area a few feet away from the house and the jacuzzi is pretty big.

We brought some out of town family with us to stay there. Awesome location and not far off the beaten path. We had no hot water when we arrived and so we called the owners and they promptly showed up to try and resolve the issue. Mind you, this was a Sunday evening. Monica showed up with a plate of freshly (and yummy) baked chocolate chip cookies and her husband discovered that there was no propane. We went to town for supper and Monica called me and told me that the issue had been taken care of. Super nice people and a super cool location. We are definitely making plans to stay there in the future. Friendly horses to pet and also exotic Axis deer to see everywhere. Don't pass this place up or you will regret it.

My wife and I spent our anniversary at Among the Crepe Myrtles at the B&B’s of Monarc Ranch in Fredericksburg and we were thoroughly pleased with our stay. Our house was very clean and well stocked for our stay. Monica, the property owner, was a delight to work with and she went out of her to make our anniversary stay memorable. Special thanks for the treats and bubbly provided for our anniversary. The private hot tube was very relaxing and the full kitchen and outside grill enabled my wife and I to enjoy some the best steaks for dinner. We walked the property and saw beautiful pastures of wild flowers, deer and a close-up view of the river that runs through the property. Unfortunately, during our visit the weather did not cooperate fully and it was overcast in the evenings meaning we could not see the beautiful stars at night. We’ll just have to wait for our next visit to experience these breathtaking celestial views. My wife felt like she was visiting her grandmother’s house, but Among the Crepe Myrtles has all the modern conveniences to make our stay a memorial one. We will be back!

OK, this property is AMAZINGLY all inclusive. We have NEVER stayed anyplace where there was more for us. Fresh biscuits and muffins, milk, eggs, orange juice, snacks, apple juice, cereal (hot and cold), and so on. The hot tub is EXCELLENT. The property is gated and private. There is 1 other cabin next door (no one was there while we stayed), but otherwise you have complete privacy. We saw a few cows, a horse, and some cats. All seem very accustom to people. Now, let me say if YOU are the type that expect "SPOTLESS", this may not be the place for you. It is "in the sticks". As such, you will likely encounter a bug or a spiderweb or a bit of dust. The property has a "lived in" appeal. I felt it was quite clean, but it is perhaps similar to visiting an elderly relative. Lots of light. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the owners are very prompt to respond if you need anything. The gate on the front of the property is a really nice perk.

Monarc Ranch is a lovely, quiet place to stay. It is located conveniently to the vineyards and Fredricksburg. The house is quaint and comfortable. We loved staying on Monarc Ranch during our trip to Fredericksburg! Outside of town on a beautiful ranch, quaint farmhouse was perfect for our stay. The host are very attentive to details, they will spoil you. ❤️ Homemade biscuits and pumpkin blossoms were there on our arrival. A sweet anniversary gift as well. 🍾🥂🎂 Perfect for a quiet relaxing get away while enjoying Fredericksburg!
