"This has to be one of my favourite hotels ever. Richard Branson does not disappoint with his focus on customer service and the details that elevate your stay. We were greeted with a cocktail and a tour of the facilities which included tennis courts, a gym, a pool and a spa. The rooms were stunning with a massive soaker tub and floor to ceiling doors opening to a private deck with a swing chair and loungers overlooking the hills of Franschook. There was a beautiful dining room overlooking the vineyards and breakfast was included with a large buffet and an à la carte menu. After Check out we were encouraged to stay and enjoy the property as long as we wished. We even rearranged our itinerary so we could spend more time there. The staff were very attentive and made us feel that anything we asked was possible. "

"I can't imagine having a better experience - the most wonderful hospitality & it's a perfect location. The staff is exceptional & the apartments are spacious, comfortable, & private. The town is great the main thoroughfare is literally seconds from the hotel & on the corner opposite the property there's puzza/pasta restaurant with a large courtyard that has live music sometimes. I felt safe and well cared for during my stay - I'll definitely be back when I have future trips to this exceptional Wine Country! "

"Wow, where do I begin? This stunning, intimate property in the heart of Franschhoek is absolutely perfect for couples! The staff are incredibly welcoming, polite, and professional. The food and beverage, on point. Although we had some noisy neighbors on our first night (not the hotel’s fault, so no complaints there), we slept wonderfully. The pillows are heavenly, the slippers luxuriously soft, and the attention to detail in celebrating special occasions is truly exceptional. Thank you to the entire team – we can’t wait to return next year! L&N x"

"Spacious and very comfortable rooms in a delightful property. Excellent staff, if a little too formal / deferential at times. Only thing I can score it down for is attention to detail on housekeeping -teapot and cup not cleaned away one day. Stairs and hall carpet needs a vacuum. Would recommend especially for the tranquility. "
