"Bright, clean, cheerful environment. Comfy bed, pillows and room furniture. A/C controls very responsive. Great shower and clean, functioning bathroom. Room lighting very effective. USB ports in night stand, microwave and fridge with coffee and tea makings. Friendly staff. Breakfast well stocked even with sous vide egg white choice, yogurt, hard boiled eggs in addition to the usual breads, cereals, waffles, etc."

"This was an older well maintained hotel. The pool area was great, it was the reason we stayed here. Rooms were nicely decorated, not like the bedding in the pics, thank goodness! Definitely consider if you’re looking for a place to cool off!! The only negative was pool doesn’t open til 10 a.m so couldn’t use on day of checkout. They should definitely consider opening it, like most pools at 8a.m. Overall a nice place to stay."

"This was an incredible place to stay with our large group! The kids enjoyed the movie theater, arcade and giant backyard while the adults loved having plenty of space to enjoy big dinners together. It was perfectly located to all the Bourbon Trail locations we wanted to visit, too. Kapil, the host, was very welcoming and responsive. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for an unforgettable 40th birthday trip!"

"The room was clean and cool on a very hot weekend. Staff was great in every way. Had Saturday morning brunch which was delicious and bountiful. You get a special feeling staying in a place that dates to 1815. Next time I'm in Frankfort overnight, it will be the Ashbrook!"
