"My only concern is the safety of the steps I had to navigate to and from the condo. There were railings for some of the steps, but not all, and those were scary. I'm 76 and not nearly as steady or confident as I used to be. I took my walking sticks and that's how I navigated the rail-less steps. These are only 2 or 3 steps long, but with no railing to steady me, they are a horrifying fall risk. I brought the sticks so that I could hike up and down dunes on my way to the lakeshore. "our overall visit was very good. The photo we saw when booking painted a considerably different picture than the reality, making it look much newer than it is. And the building was a lot older than expected and rather dated. However the facility had everything we needed and at a very good price. On balance we would consider returning and just adjust our expectations. Note, we visited in October ( not ski season). Lots of room was nice."

"This property is exactly as listed and is in the heart of downtown Frankfort. You can walk to shops and restaurants or eat in using the well stocked kitchen. Parking was not an issue for us, but we stayed in the fall when it is less busy, so I imagine if you have more than one vehicle in your party it could be harder in the summer season. The views of Betsie Bay are awesome to wake up to and the beach and trails are right out the door. We will definitely stay here again. "

"This was our second time staying at this comfortable and cozy Leelanau condo. It was just as great as the first time. Also, the condo is well equipped and very clean. "

"The property was a perfect location to relax, unwind, and totally disconnect from business life. Our main concern was no smoke detectors!!! The brackets were located in two areas with the actual smoke detector missing. The fire extinguisher was last inspected in April of 2019 with expiration one year from that date. Not ideal when considering safety. "

"Nice updates to a classic spacious condo. The three story climb is totally worth the views. We were all comfortable and didn't feel like we were tripping over each other. Kitchen is small but we'll equipped. Great beach and we had perfect weather. But watching a storm blow in from this condo would be pretty great too "
